Nicky Trax is one of the most experienced Music PR agents, specialising in DJs and clubbing. Her PR company Phuture Trax PR was one of the first UK PR companies working with a diverse set of labels promoting crossover hits like Sonz Of A Loop Da Loop Era 'Far Out' & 'S'esame Street' by Smart-Es for Suburban Base to Tina Moore's Rn'B Garage crossover smash 'Never Let You Go' for Delirious Records. It promoted many of the first UK compilations series including 'Carl Cox' 'Cafe Del Mar', 'Reactivate', 'Strictly Rhythm', Dope On Plastic' , 'Nu Electronica' etc as well as groundbreaking UK & US labels such as AM:PM, Smokin Beats, Reinforced Records, Shelter Records, Masters At Work and V 4 Visions.
Nicky started doing PR for the legendary Fridge club in Brixton (now the Electric Brixton) introducing the Soul II Soul party to The Fridge and their first house music night, Planet Love, with Mark Moore (S'Express) and Ian B.
She soon became Label Manager and PR at the fledgling UK house label, Warriors Dance, hosting early house acts and legendary DJs such as Adamski and Funtopia featuring Jimi Polo, Arnold Jarvis, Tony Humphries, Kevin Saunderson, Derrick May, Mike 'Mixing' Oliver, Louie Vega, Peter Pan (Italy) DJs Cirillo and Flavio. She then moved on to head up a new record label React Music, who's first release 'You Got The Love' by The Source feat. Candy Staton which went on to top the UK and international charts and considered a seminal anthem, covered by Florence & The Machine and many others.
Nicky Trax has worked with all sorts of events, festivals and clubs, including Latin events such as La Bomba and Carnaval del Pueblo, Dand currently Mamacita at Egg London club.
